Herman Munster the Dog needs a home

Herman is a volunteer favorite and all around goof ball. This pit mix came to us days before he was about to be put down due to overcrowding and we are SO happy we saved him. He loves his human friends and is always a crowd favorite at adoption events. Herman has done well with other dogs while at our sanctuary.



Herman is about a year old and is very active; he loves fetch, tug of war, and running around in the yards. He is also known to be a great snuggle buddy after he is tired out. A good bone will keep him busy for a while too Herman is a bigger guy (80lbs at his last vet visit) so a home with some space and a yard would be nice but a committed walker would be just fine too. He needs some work on his leash manners but is pretty good at the basics and seems to be housebroken.


Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
